Take control over the electricity bill

We have all received substantially higher hourly rates in the electricity market during the recent cold winters.
Results show the need
As consumers we want to have the necessary information in order to influence the energy consumption. We simply need more in-depth and detailed information about electricity consumption and the current hourly rate. With this background, Maingate has during the summer, conducted an extensive survey among Swedes about their view on information from energy suppliers.
83% say yes
The result is very interesting. As many as 83 percent would change their electricity consumption if they received a signal, perhaps via text message or e-mail on time of day that electricity is expensive or cheap. Even more - nine in ten - say they would use less electricity if they had an in-house display that showed differences in price round the clock.
Consumer to Citizen
The result is clear. Consumers want to take control of their electricity bill by hourly meter readings of electricity. By running the dishwasher or the dryer when the electricity is cheap, many households could save money.
